Dear Steve and WeatherCat climate watchers,

Thank you for your contribution Steve!

Here is the report from Canebas weather station with the usual "plug" for Grand's WeatherCatRCP:

The dry season is settling in for northern California.  We are under our first excessive heat warning and first red flag fire danger of the season.

The last few months, my average temperature has been 4-5 degrees higher than average. While it has been warmer, it hasn’t been that much, nor consistent. Late in June I hosed down my weather station, including up through the temp sensor. Immediately it started matching other reports in the area. No idea how long it has been creeping up, so my data is skewed.

Don’t be like me. Clean your systems!

Thanks Steve for your sage advice!

Edouard

Dear WeatherCat climate watchers,

It looks like I get to be first for July's climate report.  Here is the report from the San Francisco East Bay at Canebas Weather Station:

As usual, I've given my "plug" to Grand's WeatherCatRCP.

For our corner of planet Earth anyway, the noteworthy observation is the much warmer temperatures.  It will be interesting to see what other WeatherCatters report.

Thanks Dave, Reinhard, Steve, and Blick for your contributions,

It is interesting to see the climate values for other parts of the United States and the world.

Dear Reinhard and WeatherCat climate watchers,

My turn to report the climate at Canebas weather station for August.  As usual, I'll give my "plug" to Grand for WeatherCatRCP:

Overall, the weather has been more "normal" in northern California than Reinhard, but here too there is lots of wind.  The one positive note was the temperatures were more moderate than they were in July.  We shall see what September shall bring!
