Nieghborhood "deer" children drinking problem (cute pics.)
« on: June 19, 2013, 08:12:43 PM »
Dear WeatherCat fans,

;) Yes this doesn't quite fit under weather, but it does seem to capture the nature of the situation!

Afraid trouble is brewing in my neighborhood!!

Summer is here, schools out and  . . . . . . . . .   our "deer" children are already on the path of becoming juvenile delinquents  . . . .

Doubt my words?  Look here  . . . . . they've already turned to . . . . . "drinking!"

Worse still, as you can see - mom is too distracted to notice the problem!

Once one sibling starts  . . . . . .   It is only a matter of time before the other joins in the act!

They know better  . . . . .  once spotted they ran away from the "scene of the crime!"

You see!  The neighborhood is going down hill from here!!  [lol2]

Hope everybody enjoyed the pictures!

Cheers, Edouard  [cheers1]

Teach those cute things to stay off the roads.  I saw 3 fawns right in the middle of the highway and had to break hard to avoid them.   A couple of dead ones on the pass by our house.

Hi Jeff and WeatherCat rural residence,

Teach those cute things to stay off the roads.  I saw 3 fawns right in the middle of the highway and had to break hard to avoid them.   A couple of dead ones on the pass by our house.

That's the easy part.  What I need to do is teach the deer to stay off the roads and the wild turkeys to stay on the road!!  Preferably in a blind curve where folks tend to speed.  The drought has done it again.  Turkeys from a valley not to far from our house are starving and they are running all over the neighborhood in search of food.  Being as hungry as they are, they are really arrogant and obnoxious.

Yeah I know, I should shoot them.  The trouble is might miss and hit one of those two-legged turkeys   . . . . . .  that don't have feathers!!  [wink]

Cheers, Edouard  [cheers1]

Yea, lots of featherless turkeys running around here too.
