The Custom Graph has a webtag, in this case it is CUSTOMGRAPH$1$. If this webtag is addressed in your custom website then it will be displayed on the web. Additionally I think it will be a good idea to read through the manual page 33 and page 78ff ... ;)

Cheers,
Reinhard

Jean Frederic,

The custom graph will appear in your web upload folder as customgraph1.jpg, and can be displayed by adding CUSTOMGRAPH$1$ on your web template. WeatherCat will see the tag for your graph, populate the processed template to display the customgraph1.jpg, and then upload the files to your web site.

For example, here is the HTML code for the Soil Data web page on my web page at http://www.avon-weather.com/soil.html

Here is a graph showing evapotranspiration overlayed with the precipitation for each month. You can easily see which months we were behind on rain.<BR>

CUSTOMGRAPH$11$
<BR>
<BR>
<B>Soil Temperature Comparison:</B><BR>
Probe #1 (blue) is buried 10" deep in the vegetable garden as noted above. Current reading: STAT$ST1:CURRENT$ degrees F<BR>
Probe #2 (green) is buried 2" deep in the open grass lawn three feet from any garden beds.  Current reading: STAT$ST2:CURRENT$ degrees F<BR>
Probe #4 (red) is buried 4" deep in the open grass lawn three feet from any garden beds.  Current reading: STAT$ST4:CURRENT$ degrees F<BR>
<BR>
CUSTOMGRAPH$9$
<BR>
<BR>
<B>Soil Moisture Comparison:</B><BR>
Sensor #1 (blue) is buried 10" deep in the vegetable garden as noted above. Current reading: STAT$SM1:CURRENT$ Centibars<BR>
Sensor #2 (green) is buried horizontally 2" deep in the open grass lawn three feet from any garden beds. Current reading: STAT$SM2:CURRENT$ Centibars<BR>
Sensor #4 (red) is buried horizontally 4" deep in the open grass lawn three feet from any garden beds. Current reading: STAT$SM4:CURRENT$ Centibars<BR>
<BR>
Note that the soil moisture readings (centibars) are inverted. A reading of zero is soaking wet and 200 is bone dry. So as the precipitation increases, the soil moisture reading should decrease. <I>(Spikes during winter should be ignored, as sensor doesn't report accurately below freezing)</I><BR>
<BR>
CUSTOMGRAPH$4$<BR>

I hope that helps,
Steve

Jean,

WeatherCat will not create the custom graph unless it's tag (CUSTOMGRAPH$1$ in this case) is actually used in a template that you are processing in the Custom Web section of the On-Line preferences.

You can create a simple HTML template just listing your graphs and they will be generated.

Here is an example of one I use for myself to force creation of the graphs and dials I need for FTP Upload. Just copy the code below, edit the list of graphs as needed. Then save it as graphupload.html or something you choose and place it in the folder you use as the source for Custom Web in the preferences.
