Support for weatherflow Tempest
« on: June 29, 2026, 01:19:53 PM »
Hi,

Thank you Stu for continuing development of WeatherCat!
I have also used WeatherCat from version 1 to 3 and now have tested version 4. So far nothing to report, everything is running smoothly with my Mac Mini 2012.

I have one request, have you thought about supporting weatherflow tempest station? I think it should be pretty easy to get local udp driver working with it...
Here is documentation https://weatherflow.github.io/Tempest/api/udp/v171/

Thank you!

Thanks you for your kind comments! Good to know V4 is going ok for you.

And yes, I'd be happy to support it if there's enough interest.

If anyone else is interested, please post in this thread.

Cheers,
Stu.

Hi Stu,

I also have a Weatherflow Tempest station. It would be great to have WeatherCat support it, I would set it up as an additional station for the lightning data.

Thank you for your continued support of WeatherCat, I started using it in 2017 on version 2 and it has worked flawlessly. I'm looking forward to WeatherCat 4 when it is released.
