We have been getting a lot of rain in California and the rivers are starting get more than they can handle. Just in time, the National Weather Service is testing a new system to provide river flooding data and forecasts. It is called the New Enhanced River Forecast Pages. There is a description here:

https://preview.water.noaa.gov/By default it will display the whole country. You can then use the search feature to get a more local report. However, it only recognizes river names. There is a prefix you can use to bring up some city names. If you put the prefix
wfo: into the search field it will give you a list of some cities for which it has data. However, I couldn't get it to include the city from which I learned about the site: Sacramento. There is more information on this website on the Sacramento National Weather Service website:
