Everything that Blick has told is on the mark. There is one more tiny trick that will cause your old ISS to use up the remaining power in the super-capacitor more quickly. There is a 4th DIP switch on the transmitter circuit board. It turns on an LED that can be used to troubleshoot your installation. However, it is known to use a lot more power. Obviously that's one way to discharge the super-capacitor more quickly.
You should be able to read more about it in your Integrated Sensor Suite Installation Manual. In mine, that information is about on page 10.
