Uploads to IONOS Failing

I have been hosting WC on IONOS for some years now without a problem. Nothing has changed. It is running on an Intel Mac mini with all the latest updates. Recently I have noticed in the logs upload connections being refused. Then it tries again and it goes though. Any ideas? I have tried using the FTPS option and it makes no difference.

It looks to me like your site is still updating. Is your issue resolved?

If not, contact IONOS tech support and find out if they still allow FTP. Many hosting platforms have dropped their support of FTP and almost none of them allow FTPS. Unfortunately, WeatherCat does not support SFTP.

It mostly works. About 2 out of 10 tries it fails to upload then catches up the next upload cycle if it doesn't. I will contact IONOS when I get a chance to see what they say but if they are ending support for FTP then it means the end of WC for me. That would be a shame as I have been using it since 2018. It seems even SFTP is old now. I have three CumulusMX sites and they uses PHP uploads and I have a WeeWX site that uses RSYNC uploads.

Fingers crossed WC can get updated before IONOS FTP support does stop!!
