Yep. After I opened up Xcode which had already been updated at least for macOS 12.3 and iOS 16 (it showed.) I went to set up email and text in both worked perfectly out of the gate. Thanks very much for id-ing this!

UPDATE:

Appears I stumbled upon the issue during hurricane Ian. I had to shut down an old iMac that apparently was still running WC in the background. Since the storm the old iMac has been off and the Mac Mini WC program has not crashed once. Could there have been a conflict on the network with two computers running the same program? Who knows but at least my issue is currently cleared up after several months. I'll let you all know if something changes.

Thanks for the update. The answer is yes. What you should do is run the macOS client on one computer and WeatherCat.app on the other one, rather than run two instances of WC at the same time. Congratulations on discovering a potential conflict.
