Ready for the upcoming solar storm?
« on: April 26, 2022, 11:00:56 PM »
Dear WeatherCat observers of extreme weather preferably from a safe distance,

Everyone now and then, solar weather makes the headlines.  There is a solar storm headed our way:

While the effects are expected to occur mostly above 65 degrees in latitude, there might be minor perturbations of the power grid in Canada and Alaska.  It should also intensify the aurora borealis.

You can even read space weather alert directly on the space weather website!

Cheers, Edouard
