Dear WeatherCat concerned about wildfire types,

This morning Google directed me to a website that I hadn't heard about before even if it has been active since 2008: Wildfire Today

https://wildfiretoday.com/

It does have some useful coverage of the fires in California at the moment.  It also covers things like air quality, firefighter health, research, and so on.  There is no "about us," but it does appear to be a "one man band" by the name of Bill Gabbert.  Nonetheless, I've found enough useful information to add it to my cornucopia of bookmarks.

For your consideration . . . . . .

Cheers, Edouard  [cheers1]

This site is also new to me and one that adds more information than one gets from the National Interagency Fire Center and the other Official sites. Thanks for sharing.
