Dear Blick, Steve, and WeatherCat observers of the seasons turning,

Sadly, any season will due for running around like a chicken with its head cut off.  However, finally here is the report from Canebas weather station:

Relatively speaking, it was a normal September for the San Francisco East Bay.  At the moment however, October is threatening to be another story.

Dear WeatherCat observers of the seasons turning,

I guess Canebas weather station will get to make the first report on October in 2024.  As usual, I will make my "plug" for Grand's WeatherCatRCP:

The beginning of October was very warm which skewed the temperature readings.  The wind was very much within the envelope of normalcy.  The precipitation on the other hand, . . . . When you live in California and care about the climate, it is always a nervous autumn until the rains finally come - if they do!

In a nod to Reinhard and for those not familiar with the San Francisco East Bay, here is a screen-shot of the location map from OpenStreetMap on the Canebas website:

If you are new to OpenStreetMap, there is a tutorial on this forum on how to incorporate maps like this on to your website:
