Sunset in Banner Generator
« on: October 04, 2015, 03:15:11 AM »
I'm trying to add the time the sun sets to my banner and can't get it to work.

I choose "StatTag" and enter "SunsetTime" and its not giving me the time?  Exactly how should I enter it?

Only STAT$ type tags can be used there - no other tags will work.

"STAT$ type tags", the ones on page 207 and following in the Manual, correct?

Although I've not used it, the banner (p. 85, 223) appears to be a way of showing current data in a condensed format in various places you might post a message; forum 'sig', Twitter, FaceBook, etc. Perhaps that's why some fairly static data (SUNRISE...$, SUNSET...$) are not available in a banner. The banner is a fairly small space so only variable (current) data is used.
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COUNTRIES
Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
And the United States = The Banana system

So Sunrise/Sunset can't be shown on the banner or am I just not entering the tag correctly?

Correct, only the STAT$ tag can be used. I'll raise a feature request for it.
