Generic XML via HTTP station feed

As discussed in this thread http://athena.trixology.com/index.php?topic=1485.msg12470#msg12470 I'd like to request the addition of a generic station format using XML files over http. This would provide a route for non standard weather stations to input data to WeatherCat. It would also allow combining the data from multiple stations (perhaps an outdoor from one manufacturer and an indoor from another) into a single location station feed.

In my own case I am currently connecting to WeatherCat by emulating the XML feed from WeatherHawk, however this has limitations in the channels offered, and isn't documented.

Following on from this. I was given a Davis Vantage Pro for Christmas but I'd still like to use the solar and UV sensors that I already have on the Ambient Weather unit. A generic XML format would allow me to combine these into a single virtual station.
