After the 100 plus degree days in our worst drought ever, lightening
has sparked numerous fires. The Eiler fire is burning around Burney mtn and can be seen in my weathercam. See: http://pbeaudet.us
We had been lucky that we haven't had more lightning sparked fires considering the amount of monsoonal activity streaming across the whole of California. Alas, our luck has run out . . . .

Hoping some of the monsoonal rains reach California and help put out the fires and ease the drought.
Alas, all this monsoonal activity has brought basically zip in terms of rainfall. This morning I got the first measurable rain since May. Alas, exactly the same amount: 0.01" . . . .
