Humble request: Applescript access to FTP-overdrive errors.
« on: April 01, 2014, 11:17:10 PM »
Howdy Stu and WeatherCat scripters,

GoDaddy has been getting sloppy about keeping up my canebas.org website and every now and then I've been getting FTP-overdrive errors.  I was wondering why my WC Status Growler Applescript doesn't report these errors.  Well, there is a good reason!  There is no AppleScript access to those errors!  AppleScript only has access to actual FTP upload failures.  There is no interface to catch when the FTP queue grows out of control.

So, definitely one of those lower priority requests, but could you Stu log into your feature request tracker one of those - when you get around to implementing - sort of requests!

Thanks!

Cheers, Edouard  [cheers1]

Howdy Stu and WeatherCat fans,

Added to the list - thanks for the suggestion  [tup]

Thanks Stu!

I suppose it is a good thing that FTP-overdrive isn't a very common problem.  I suppose all those web service providers aren't doing quite as bad a job as we like to gripe about!  ;D
