Weather Cat won't update Weather underground but a few times

I upgraded the weather cat station with a new mac and mavericks 10.9.2. Over a two day period after about 10 updates to weather underground, Weather Cat quits showing new updates in the weather underground window/tab of Weather Cat. The weather underground web page shows the last temperature , etc. that was sent on the five minutes updates. This will never change until if restart Weather cat or possible wake the computer from sleep. The restart only helps for a few updates. It may have something to do with sleep nap, do I need to set the computer CPU or Hard Disk to never Sleep? Thanks for suggestion on this issue.

You'll need to disable the computer sleep - just set the monitor to go to sleep. If the computer goes to sleep WeatherCat will not be running and won't update.

Edit: Also make sure you are running the latest WeatherCat (version 1.2.4) - earlier versions had issues with AppNap on 10.9.

Updates will only be sent if Mavericks is NOT asleep.  I use Rapid Fire set at 15 sec intervals.

There is also one other place you can check your Wunderground status. From your description, it appears you are checking the Wunderground upload status on the Wunderground PWS tab in WeatherCat Preferences. Try opening up the WeatherCat Status tool and check there. In the middle section of the tool, you will see to whether or not you Wunderground is running (meaning whether or not you are connected to WU and uploading to it) and how many successful connections you have made to upload data.

Set processor the never sleep, hard drive can spin down and monitor sleeps. Everything looking good for the past 22 hours. Thanks.
