Dear WeatherCat weather watchers,

It occurred to me that some of you might not know of a very helpful feature that can be found I believe on all National Weather Service district pages.  There should be a link to the forecast discussion.  Here is where you will find the link on the NWS Monterey home page:

Here is a link to the Monterey forecast discussion:

http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/total_forecast/getprod.php?prod=XXXAFDMTR&wfo=MTR

Hoping around I see the same basic website layout on other National Weather Service district web pages.  For those of us in the United States it is a very interesting resource.  This is where I get my information on what the computer forecast models are predicting.

Thought you'all might like to know!

Cheers, Edouard  [cheers1]

Hi Edouard
Not fair our NWS Forecast Office  in Wilmington,Ohio does not offer Forecast Discussion

I checked all around Ohio and NO Forecast Discussion but all the states around us have it
Our weather either cold or hot and snow I guess thats all the discussion we need [biggrin]

cheers

Hi Randall, Steve, Jeff, and WeatherCat infomaniacs,

Glad you found this info one way or another.  Unfortunately, there maybe variation in the regional office websites.  So Randall, your trick to use a search engine may be needed in some cases.

Cheers, Edouard  [cheers1]

Thanks Edouard. IT shows up in the Utah region just as it did on the page you posted.
