WS2355 - weird temperature gain
« on: November 29, 2013, 07:49:04 AM »
Morning All

For the last 6 days or so for some unknown reason, weathercat is reading from my weather station between the hours of 1:22 and 5:12 an extra 7 degrees than the real outside temp.

At 1:22 the outside temp goes up 7 degrees, then an hour later by 4 degrees, then an hour later by 3 degrees, then lowers 9 degrees at 4:12, then a goes down a further 6 degrees at 5:22 and from then on the data seems much more coherent.

Any ideas?

No ideas but a bad joke . . . . (Re: WS2355 - weird temperature gain)

Dear jkyndt and WeatherCat fans,

Sorry, I'm a Davis kind of guy so I can't help you with this one.  Hope some of the other Le Crosse folks can come to your aide.

However, . . . . . . .  I just can't resist this one!!

At 1:22 the outside temp goes up 7 degrees, then an hour later by 4 degrees, then an hour later by 3 degrees, then lowers 9 degrees at 4:12, then a goes down a further 6 degrees at 5:22 and from then on the data seems much more coherent.

 ;) . . . . .  One word: Menopause!!!  [lol2]

Hope the smile at least relieved the frustrations a little!  :)

Cheers, Edouard  [cheers1]

I don't know how old your station is but to me this smacks of a failing temperature sensor.
