I've got spikes!
« on: February 03, 2013, 10:17:39 AM »
I have a spike in all my graphs except wind, rain, indoor temp, & indoor hum (envoy itself). Right across the month change. But they aren't in the data. There are missing entry's just before midnight and just after midnight. It seems that when it misses writing to the data table, the values graph as there default values. But, I can't edit out data that isn't there. :o   See attachments
This happened back across new year too but I took it as an annual glitch.
Any suggestions? I've got another couple of days before the logger fills up.

Your seeing a very old bug to do with the end of the month - if a graph plot extends over the transition there's a drop in the plot at that point. As it's a graph plotting issue/cosmetic, this has never made it high enough in the priority list to get fixed.

But I'm getting a bit sick of it now, so have scheduled it to be fixed in the 1.2 development.

Howdy Stu, kp3, and WeatherCat fans,

I have a spike in all my graphs except wind, rain, indoor temp, & indoor hum (envoy itself). Right across the month change.

Hmm, that's odd.  I don't see anything in any of my graphs.  I thought this bug was fixed.  Does it have something to do with your timezone or something?

Oh well, sorry Stu that you'll have to fight this bug once more.

Cheers, Edouard  [cheers1]

I see it on my custom soil temp/moisture graph for midnight Jan 31 (and it was on Dec 31, too, but we already talked about that.) I don't see it anywhere else on my custom graphs.

Yep, it's still there - gonna have a party when it's finally squashed.

Sorry to disturb an old wound. Here I thought it was missing records and I was going to cast my vote for adding the data import feature... a back burner item I know, with a total of what, 4 supporters now?
Thanks for moving this spike thing up, Stu.
