Hi Herb!
Long time no post. Nice to have you back. Sorry for the circumstances though.
I too have issues with the 3.3.1 release. Once installed and restarted the 24 hr charts displayed 4 hours of weather data from cache, then froze. An hour later, I restarted again to see 2 1/2 hours of cache, but I noticed that all 7 day charts are complete. Hope that helps Stu to find the bugger.
Waiting for an update. My station was down for a month due to computer issues. I had just got it sorted Sunday night and when it was running with all weather data, unfortunately I decided take the update challenge. ![Bang Head [banghead]](https://athena.trixology.com/Smileys/default/banghead.gif)
EDIT: Restarted WC just now, after it sitting frozen. It populated the same data on the 7 day charts. No change from earlier. The 24 hr charts have nothing. The gages have always been set to 0 since the update.
Does WeatherCat show any signs of trying to download the data from the Davis Data logger? If it "thinks" it has downloaded the data already, it won't try again.
The only thing I can think of is to try to use some backup data from the time before you had a problem. I think you would have to use a data backup like Time Machine. WeatherCat only keeps 7 days worth of backup.
I would suggest that you try replacing the preference file using the tried and true procedure here on the WeatherCat Wiki:
https://wiki.trixology.com/index.php?title=How_to_create_and_use_a_backup_of_your_WeatherCat_preferences_fileThen try restarted WeatherCat using the backup data source.
Let us know if that helps you at all.
