« on: January 26, 2024, 04:13:11 PM »
I have today upgraded to Mac Sonama. I am using the latest version of WeatherCat. Although in the toolbar the data from my wireless Vantage Pro 2 is correct, my custom graph is not updating . Any help please?

Dear Angiotom and WeatherCat troubleshooters,

I have today upgraded to Mac Sonama. I am using the latest version of WeatherCat. Although in the toolbar the data from my wireless Vantage Pro 2 is correct, my custom graph is not updating . Any help please?

Here are a few things to try.  Since one other WeatherCat user solved their Sonoma problem by replacing their preference file with a backup that certainly would be a good first thing to try.  The instructions on how to do this are here:

https://wiki.trixology.com/index.php?title=How_to_create_and_use_a_backup_of_your_WeatherCat_preferences_file

Hopefully, you either have a dedicated backup or can retrieve this file from system backup.

You might try simply closing the custom graph and reopening it to see if that gets it working again.  You could try creating a new custom graph to see if the problem is with all graphs or just that one.

Finally, it would be a good idea to take a look at the WeatherCat log to see if there are any messages there which might explain your problem.

Let us know what you uncover.

Edouard

Elagache--I just want to thank you for coming up with THE SOLUTION--recreating the plist.  I've just joined (and been approved to use) the forum and had searched and researched this problem to no avail over the last month.  I joined so I could ask a question and by chance I happened upon this thread and following the link's directions. I now have Weathercat up and running on my new Mac mini.

Thank you for being here and for a fantastic weather program.

Dear 2blue and WeatherCat troubleshooters,

Since this is your first posting, let me welcome you to the WeatherCat forum!

I can't take even most of the credit.  My main contribution is to come to this forum most days and pointing to the solutions that others were just as likely to come up with as me.  We are truly a community of software users and everyone contributes their bit.  I'm happy to simply be part of that.
