Randall:

Sorry you are having issues. I haven't had any of those crashes. I recently switched my Internet from copper DSL to fiber optic and haven't had any Internet issues. I'm running maOS 10.14.6 (Mojave).

Dear Randall, Blick, and WeatherCat troubleshooters,

Hi WeatherCatters Is anyone else having crashes from this:com.apple.libnetwork.pacResolution.Ever since I got Satellite Internet I been getting crashes from this.Just wondering is it something there or an app.I sent the crash report to Stu he said it was a network crash and forward it  to Apple Again wheather if it is just me or what?
. . . .

It is certainly a curious problem.  Stu is correct, it is a problem related to Apple's own networking libraries.  I did find this mentioned in a thread about an online game:

https://bbs.originsro.org/viewtopic.php?t=2530&p=12645

I also found this reference that appears to be for iOS but seems to suggest that you might be having hardware problems connecting to your satellite Internet:

https://www.bountysource.com/issues/50274509-crash-flurryreachabilitycallback

The error seems to occur when the cellular network (in this application) isn't reliable enough and drops a connection.  I assume that this library is now common to MacOS and iOS.  Perhaps you should get in touch with your satellite Internet provider.  Perhaps they can offer you some suggestions.

Sorry, best I can come up with.

Cheers, Edouard

Well they are saying that the only thing they can think is that when the information that is being uploaded that the signal is getting blocked buy an airplane or something which is causing a block back signal to WeatherCat's and Apple's network which is then causing this lib thing to crash.
But I can't believe this  [banghead] [banghead] [banghead] cause I have had it now for a few months and it just started a few weeks ago.

After all, this is a forum with an interest in the weather!   [sun2]  Did this problem start when the weather in your location made a substantial and somewhat permanent change?  The atmosphere does interact with radio waves.  I'm sure the frequencies used by your system are less effected by the atmosphere.  Otherwise the system would never be reliable.  Nonetheless, all radio signals are effected by the atmosphere to some extent.  Did your problems start with a change in the weather pattern?

Do keep us posted!

Cheers, Edouard

Satellite internet and satellite cable are subject to the whether for sure. Heavy cloud cover and intense storms interrupt service. Let us know what you observe.
