Dear WeatherCat climate watchers,
It is April fool's day, but it is difficult to imagine anything much serious than extreme weather. March was an extreme roller coaster here in the greater San Francisco bay area. This is shown on the report from Canebas Weather Station for this past month:

Once more, I'll make my "plug" to WeatherCatRCP in the hopes that Grand might reconsider and support it.
Since it is another test of the WeatherCat 4.0 beta, here is the same report with the end of the month coming from the Ecowitt station:

Unfortunately, I couldn't locate the Ecowitt station completely out of the trees so I suppose that explains the discrepancies.
Of course the location for the data remains the same:

Sadly drought continues to be a major problem across the western United States as the NOAA spring outlook grimly predicts.
https://www.noaa.gov/news-release/spring-outlook-drought-forecasted-to-expand-in-us-west-parts-of-plainsNorthern California was briefly proclaimed to be out of drought back in January. I'm sure I wasn't the only person who snickered at such dubious assertions. Skeptics like me would be getting the last laugh if the matter was even remotely funny.
Oh well, . . . . . .
