Graphs Appearance
« on: December 29, 2012, 12:16:18 PM »
Still evaluating the software before deciding whether to make the investment to buy, but I have a couple of cosmetic suggestions to make so far:

Not a great fan of shadows on line graphs and the choice to deselect this option in Basic Graphs would unclutter the appearance. The example shown on p. 27 of the manual doesn't appear to have any shadow, but there doesn't seem to be the same option to select/deselect as there is for Custom Graphs.

The duplication of the graph title above the graph and as the window name looks 'messy' see e.g. on p. 28 of the manual. One or other is good, but not both.

Apart from these trivial improvements (as a Mac user I'm a stickler for detail!) am liking what I've seen so far and a distinct improvement on the free software the station (Fine Offset clone) came with which would also mean keeping out an old PC to run it off.

Can't test everything yet as it's been too wet to get out into the garden to set up the station fully!

Hi Neil
If I'm reading this right go to preferences, misc2, and uncheck Basic Graph Shadows
And for the other about the double Today that would be up to Stu
Hope this is what you are talking about
 [cheers1]

Yep that's sorted it - thanks!
Had been looking under Location/Colors where the other Basic Graph settings are.

Still don't like the duplication of titles though!
