Windrun units

Is it possible to add to Preferences -> Units/misc option to choose windrun unit?
In Nordic countries we use for windspeed m/s unit, but when selecting the m/s, windrun is also in meters, and it is not very usable if you check the statistic in WCT.
Here is couple screenshots to show the problem.

Okay, your screenshots make the point persuasively.  We'll just have to wait for our "fearless leader" (Stuart Ball, WeatherCat developer) to take a look at the problem and decide on what to do about it.
