Photo that feels like winter
« on: December 11, 2013, 09:55:36 PM »
Dear WeatherCat fans,

Normally autumn and winter are either cloudy or foggy in Orinda.  So it is very odd to have a long string of days when we can see the sun's rays peeking over the horizon.  There has been this strange effect of sunlight creeping under the canopy of trees across the yard and finally this morning I managed to capture the effect:

No snow, but it sure has that icy look - doesn't it?

Cheers, Edouard  [cheers1]

P.S. I cannot tell a lie, I did tweak the contrast, brightness, hue and saturation a bit to enhance the effect.  However, by exposing 2-stop lower than the meter's guess I came reasonably close.
