Custom alerts enable/disable without deleting them
« on: November 25, 2012, 11:49:04 AM »
Without deleting user defined custom alerts, ability to activate / unactivate them individualy (but without
deleting them).

I would find it very handy top have this enable/diable option from the Preferences/Custom Alerts pane.

E.g. with an additional button (new/edit/delete/...) a toggle alert which would grey the selected alert
when non activated... or something alike.

thanks :)

Hi fbriatto2,

maybe the following is a way to go for you: Select the alert that you want to disable, hit the button "EDIT" and uncheck the boxes in "Then perform the following Actions..." and in "Clearing". The alert will trigger but nothing happens - its not the same as disabled, but it has the same effect.

Added to the to-do list - thanks for the suggestion  [tup] (and thanks to Reinhard for the support - initially missed this one, sorry).

The workaround is OK and thanks for taking it into account for some future release. Best regs. :)
