Dear Scrib and WeatherCat faithful,
Obviously, you have been on the forum for a while, but since this is your first posting, let me officially welcome you to the WeatherCat forum!

Steve1000: Thank you for asking this question in the forums. I had a similar problem with an Intel MacBook Pro after an upgrade to Big Sur. After much effort, I downgraded back to Mojave, where my Davis Vantage Pro 2 Plus is working just fine again. But I didn't want to lose 7 years of data!
I'm glad that you were able to get your system up and running after much hardship. It is an important cautionary tale. Your Mac running WeatherCat isn't simply a computer, it is the archive of all your weather data. Most of us really care about our data, so I strongly urge anyone considering an upgrade to check first on the forum to see if it is safe. Delaying an update is a small price to pay for keeping all your data secure.
Blicj11: Thank you very much for the reference to the wiki item. Worked great for me!
That's what makes the WeatherCat forum great! We all help one another!

Cheers, Edouard
