Custom graphs missing data

I have some missing data in my custom graphs and I am not sure why.
Davis vantage Vue with data logger.
Please see attached screen shot.
Any suggestions will be welcomed.

Your graphs suggest that your weather station was not communicating with the console during the periods when you are missing data.  Are you getting the WeatherCat management emails?  You should get a warning email when data isn't being received.  Another thing to check is Live Data display from the Tools menu.  You'll get a list of any sensor errors there.

Something else to look into is whether or not WeatherCat was reporting any sorts of errors in the log.  You can scroll through at the WeatherCat Log window looking for any error messages.

Unfortunately all the advice above requires that WeatherCat has been running continuously through the episode of lost data to now.  If you have restarted WeatherCat since the errors showed up, you'll need to look somewhere else to find indications of a problem.  The Console application can be used to look for errors that occurred in the past.  Here is a useful tutorial on Console application:

Try searching for WeatherCat related errors on the day when the data is missing.

I really appreciate your help and will work through it and let you know.
I live in Pretoria South Africa and the set-up is on my game ranch a couple of hours away.
Will only get there on the weekend but crucial to me....we have had a El Nino with severe drought....worst recorded in 103 years !!
Just had our first rain for season (starts September)
Will get back to you but this will help a lot !

You might need to check if your weather instruments are perhaps too far away from the console of if there are some electronics that could interfering.

Sorry to hear about the drought.  I'm rather familiar with such things . . . .

I hope you are more fortunate soon.  It seems that for the moment California's drought is getting some relief.

Thank you to all for your advice !
I "THINK" that I got to the bottom-line of the problem and that in the end it was rather simple.
There was severe electrical storms in the area and a prolonged brake in power supply...60 to 72 hrs !!!
Now my data logger was set to record at 1 minute intervals and according to Davis web site :

Archive Storage Capacity (the amount of time before the archive is completely filled):
1 Minute Archive Interval . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 42 hours 5 Minute Archive Interval . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 8 days 10 Minute Archive Interval . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 17 days 15 Minute Archive Interval . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 26 days 30 Minute Archive Interval . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 53 days 60 Minute Archive Interval . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 106 days 120 Minute Archive Interval . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 213 days

So it seems the logger was full and once power was restored could only upload 40 odd hrs of data hence the gap.

Glad you seem to have gotten the problem solved.

Now my data logger was set to record at 1 minute intervals

Did you leave the data logger to record at 1 minute intervals or did you change it to leave a bit more time between sampling?  For a station that runs unattended you might be better off going with a longer interval.  A dedicated Mac is reasonably reliable and WeatherCat is very stable, but things do happen and having a data logger that can collect data for longer intervals might avoid another incident like this.
