Hehe Keith..but the positive is that I learnt my imac doesn't like to do a P-RAM with a wireless keyboard :-)  And yes I am now totally back up and running thanks to the quickfire suggestion of hitting preferences before Weather Cat started the history download.  Thanks Stu!!   [cheer]  You sure need nifty fingers for this weather lark, who knew?

Howdy Paula, Stu, Keith, and WeatherCat troubleshooters,

WOW!  This sure was a stubborn set of problems to solve.

I hope Paula that you are now back in business!  [tup]

Since I seem to be in a wiki mode, I added these two situations into a troubleshooting section for the Fine Offset stations on the Wiki:

http://wiki.trixology.com/index.php/Fine_Offset

If anybody else can think of some troubleshooting tips for these stations - suggest!!

Cheers, Edouard  [cheers1]

Need a quickie Wiki tutorial. (Re: was a tough problem!)

Howdy Blick, Stu, and WeatherCat fans,

Thank you, from all of us, for always remembering to take the time to add to the Wiki.

Yep, nice work  [tup]

You are most welcome!  [bounce]

I'm going to try to put together a short and sweet tutorial on how to use the Wiki.  Mostly I want to share a few links that show the basic formatting.  Using a Wiki is bit of a mind bending experience, but for simply adding text it isn't every hard.  I think more WeatherCat users would be willing to contribute snippets if they could get past the initial "how on earth does this work?"  :o - phase.

Cheers, Edouard  [cheers1]

Yep, wholeheartedly agree.

In my case, I've probably got several WeatherCat tips I've discovered over time but just never took the time to delve into figuring out how MediaWiki really works to post them. A quick 'n dirty tutorial would certainly be appreciated.
