So here in the center of the Alps at 1350m above sealevel we have had:

Der Mai war...
Wärmer als im Monatsschnitt (11,19°C gegenüber einer Durchschnittstemperatur von 9,91)
Trockener als im Monatsschnitt (58,20 mm gegenüber durchschnittlich 93,13 Niederschlag)
Ruhiger als im Monatsschnitt (2.256 km gegenüber durchschnittlich 2.629 Windmenge)

Warmer, Dryer, Calmer

In the mountains of northern Utah, May was
Warmer than average (47.68° F versus an average of 46.42)
Wetter than average (2.75 in versus an average total of 2.23)
Calmer than average (a wind run of 3,069 miles versus an average of 3,225)

And we are still in very serious drought, along with most of the western United States.

WeatherCat Feature Requests / Davis Air Quality Sensors
« Last post by edpnjax on June 09, 2026, 09:28:49 PM »
I have looked at the Wiki and the PDF manual and didn't see anything.

Are there any plans to add Tags for the Davis Air Quality sensors?  I have 2, 1 inside and 1 outside and would like to be able to incorporate those into my custom template.

Thanks!!

Dear Chris and budget-conscious WeatherCatters,

I have the lightning sensor and it's battery powered - AAA (I think) and they last about a year.

I'm fairly sure that the particulate sensor is battery powered too, but don't have one to check

Thanks!  That's good news for me!  Time for me to get my act together and actually buy them!

Dear WeatherCat climate watchers,

It is June 1st so I can report back on what happened in May at Canebas Weather Station.  I couldn't figure out how to get a neat display from WeatherKitten so here is old reliable WeatherCatRCP:

Of course the location for the data remains the same:

It was another surprisingly wet month here.  Alas by the time you reach May, the rainfall amounts disappear quickly as the temperatures start to climb.  The dry season has most definitely taken hold and there won't be any real relief until November.

Such are da' conditions that prevail in Northern California.
