Title: formateddata.txt with customformat.txt
Post by: jf-i2r on March 17, 2013, 07:42:35 AM
hi

is it possible in the future that Weathercat can generate a file formateddata.txt from a customformat.txt
I ask this because our French Association of Meteorology (http://www.infoclimat.fr) has an online database for example mine :
http://www.infoclimat.fr/observations-meteo/temps-reel/sainte-marie-de-re-la-noue/000P3.html
I ask this because I will soon migrate weatherdisplay pc to mac Weathercat
enclosed the customformat.txt

thanks
jean frederic

Hi Jean Frederic,
Assuming infoclimat can pick the file up from your web-site, you can do this already.

Simply replace the tags in that file with the equivalent WeatherCat ones then get custom web to process it and upload it to your web-site.

Cheers,
Stu.

Hi Jean Frederic,

In the file where you have something like:
temperature=%temp%
change it to use the WeatherCat tag - for example
temperature=CT$

All the current tags can be found at:
http://live.trixology.com/custom/

Cheers,
Stu.
