Hi Guys,
My name is Martin and I'm in Buckhurst Hill, Essex, England - about 8 miles north of Central London.
Just bought my Davis Vue and set it up last Saturday. Spent about 3 hours trying to get Weatherlink to communicate with my Mac. Eventually got it sorted to find the weatherlink software somewhat basic in its content and presentation. Have now installed Weathercat and I have to say I'm impressed. Looks like it will be plenty adequate for my needs.
I am however having a problem trying to get Weathercat to recognise my YMail SMPT mail server. Spent about an hour trying last night. Checked all the settings on the Yahoo site and it appears ok however it's not interested. Will try again later.
Cheers, MC

Welcome to the forum MC.
I've just created a YMail account to test for you - here are the settings that worked for me (where yourname@ymail.com is your ymail email address):
SMTP Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Port: 25 (some ISP's block port 25, if this is the case use port 587)
User: yourname@ymail.com
Password: Your ymail password
Authentication: Off
'From' Field: yourname@ymail.com

Brilliant, thanks for your help on this WCDev. I'll try the suggested settings when I get home tonight and will let you know how I get on.
