Title: New Germany Weather Station
Post by: Chet on January 14, 2013, 10:20:08 AM
I live in Magstadt, Germany, a suburb of Stuttgart. I expect my new Davis Vue to arrive any day. I look forward to setting it up. I just purchased WeatherCat. The software says I need a driver for my Macintosh (Lion OS) to use the USB Datalogger. Can someone point me to where I can download this driver.

Thanks and hello to all :)

Just an update. Installed the Vue and love Weathercat.

Hi Guys,

My name is Martin and I'm in Buckhurst Hill, Essex, England - about 8 miles north of Central London.

Just bought my Davis Vue and set it up last Saturday. Spent about 3 hours trying to get Weatherlink to communicate with my Mac. Eventually got it sorted to find the weatherlink software somewhat basic in its content and presentation. Have now installed Weathercat and I have to say I'm impressed. Looks like it will be plenty adequate for my needs.

I am however having a problem trying to get Weathercat to recognise my YMail SMPT mail server. Spent about an hour trying last night. Checked all the settings on the Yahoo site and it appears ok however it's not interested. Will try again later.

Cheers, MC
