Hi All,
I decided that I needed to track weather for our Orchid collection so researched on the Web and found WeatherCat.
So I put in an order with Santa to get a Weather Station for Christmas!! Low and behold a La Crosse WS2355 turned up under the tree. I had a few issues getting the Coms dongle to talk to my iMac but that is now sorted and otherwise WhetherCat was a breeze to install.
I am now looking forward to customizing the app and learning from this community.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the warm welcome. Sorry my reply is so long in coming.
I only get to the house where the equipment is located on weekends and then not every week. I have been procrastinating about sensor placement and so oly mounted the pole with the wind and rain sensors 2 weeks ago.
All seems to be working though there is a bit of installation fine tuning to do.
Next step will be to get the results onto the web so that I can observe from afar. I am sure I will have more questions.
