Title: Web Tag for Wind direction in degrees

Hi,

I would like a web tag for reporting wind direction in degrees without the need to have the default direction set to degrees in Preferences > Units/Misc1 ( I don't think there is a way of doing this at present )

The only reason I have my system set to degrees now is because AWEKAS requires wind direction data to be sent to them in degrees, it would be great to be able to send this and still have the system wind direction set to Compass etc.

That's a very good idea, Tony. I have mine set to degrees only for AWEKAS, as well.

Hi Tony and Steve,

Ditto.  I never looked into why Tony had set things up as he did to make AWEKAS work.  However, us human types can't visualize where the wind is coming from from the degree data.  It would be nice to have my AWEKAS submission and wind direction values that I'm comfortable with.

This is present in version 0.9.2 onwards - WDDEGREES$

Thanks for that, working as it should. i have replaced the tag  in my upload to AWEKAS and have changed WeatherCat's global wind direction back to compass.
