Hello,

I would definitely need the ability to choose any of the sensors as triggers for custom alerts. If not feasible (why are we constrained to a few of them only ?) I would at least need external humidity.

I totally agree with you - it should be possible to select any channel for alerts - this is on the todo list, probably for WeatherCat 2.

External Humidity is available as a trigger for custom alerts in the current release - see attached screenshot.

Hello Stu,

Sorry, but the "External Humidity" criteria is not part of the Custom Alerts options in WC 1.02 Build 3 which
I am testing. This is maybe a problem of the "localized" release ? (french)
I would definitely prefer to be able to stick with the original locale (English) even if my os is configured for
French. I have too much problems with translated items (accents etc). Is there a simple way to choose the langage
or at least to avoid, during install, the siwtch to "French" localisation ?

This would also allow me to test this humidity custom alert.  (see attached screen).

Just as an info for Stu: the External Humidity alert option is present here in the german build, but not translated  :-[ (Is added on my translation-to-do-list when we are provided with the latest build that is destined for translation.)

Aha, that explains it - sorry about that  :)

For launching as a different language, you used to be able to do it via the Finder's 'Get Info' window, but they've taken that away. Probably the simplest way at the moment is to use something like 'Language Switcher' (http://www.tj-hd.co.uk/en-gb/languageswitcher/)

YESSS ! It was a "French" localization limitation.
Ext. Humidity works perfectly now as a custom alert parameter.

I wanted to pop in here just to request that Internal Humidity be an alert condition too. I have a house that gets damp, and I need to run a dehumidifier. If I could set an alert for internal humidity, that would remind me to run the dehumidifier!

Yes, this one's been outstanding for a while - it's on the todo list - possibly for the next release (1.1.2), if not, version 1.2.0.
