Time to refurbish our Davis Instruments Vantage Pro 2 Plus! It’s been nearly 15 years since new, and other than batteries, I’ve only replaced the solar panel, supercap, and anemometer.
Cleaned, assembled, and functioning properly. I didn’t install the anemometer yet, as I’m going to get a coupler and taller pipe to mount it correctly. But everything thing else seems to be great.
New circuit board
New rain collector
New racing tipping unit
New temperature/hygrometer sensor
Thanks to Ryan at Scaled Instruments for getting me sorted!

Nice job Steve! Mine seriously needs similar here.
My last dealing with Ryan was back in 2015 - it's good to see he's still going strong ThU32:-)

The anemometer is not at the correct height, and the trees have some effect on the wind strength. But there's really no good place to mount it. Even when it was on the roof at the specified 33 feet, it had large trees north and west of it.
Done, and reporting good data!

Belated congratulations Steve!! [bounce]
My station is also looking very weary . . . . . . :( Alas too many balls in the air to take this one on at the moment.
