Following the U.S., Australia says it will remove Chinese-made surveillance cameras [NPR] (https://www.npr.org/2023/02/09/1155630158/following-the-u-s-australia-says-it-will-remove-chinese-made-surveillance-camera) I wasn't even aware that the US had decided to ban these two brands of cameras. I haven't searched much lately, but "Hikvision" is a very familiar brand. My "Sharx" (Shenzhen Ogemray Technology Company, LTD) WiFi camera is working fine. As far as I know, no one in China has any info of my backyard activities... Exciting Mid-South Weather backyard video feed (http://www.mid-southweather.com/webcam.html).

Dear X-Air and WeatherCat webcam fans,
Following the U.S., Australia says it will remove Chinese-made surveillance cameras [NPR] (https://www.npr.org/2023/02/09/1155630158/following-the-u-s-australia-says-it-will-remove-chinese-made-surveillance-camera) I wasn't even aware that the US had decided to ban these two brands of cameras.
. . . .
Thanks for sharing. I wasn't aware of these bans either. Unfortunately, locating cameras suitable for WeatherCat webcams has become more difficult recently. This could make that problem worse.
