My iPad is not able to find weathercat on the local network. It works fine with my iPhone. I have deleted the app and reloaded and it still is not working. This just started in the last two days. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Verify in your iPad Settings that the local network WiFi is selected.
Power-cycle (reboot) your iPad.
Tap the WeatherCatPad icon to start it.
The Status at the center of the top bar in WeatherCatPad should quickly display "Checking connection" and then "Searching for the Local Network" also quickly. What does the WeatherCat Status display when you follow these steps?

P.S. Merry Christmas!

It never finds the connection, and now it is not working on my iPhone. Could I have a configuration issues on my IMac?

Update! My iMac app had crashed and I reopened it. Now weathercat works on my iPhone and Apple TV. The problem appears to be an IPAD issue. It will search for connection, but does not find it. Please offer suggestions that I might try.

Dear oldcolonel and WeatherCat iPad users,

Sometimes, it helps to toggle from the local connection to something else. You should have as your Internet1 connection the WeatherCat test server:
trixology-eng.com
Just selecting that Internet connection and allow it to reach the test server seems to reset all the connections. After doing that, I was able to go back to Local and successfully connect my WeatherCat application running on my Mac.
Let us know if this gets you unstuck.
Cheers, Edouard
