Title: New Station Records
Post by: Dave13 on December 23, 2022, 09:44:52 PM
The arctic air arrived here last night and set new records for my weather station this morning.

12-23-2022 at 7:44am CST
Low Temperature: -0.8°F
Low Dew Point: -7.6°F
Low Wind Chill:  -17.8°F

Anyone else have new records at their weather station?

Thanks Dave for sharing!

Given the blocking high pressure off of the west coast, no temperature extremes in California.  However, I'm definitely curious to see if any other WeatherCatters have set some new records.

Cheers, Edouard

We've had 17 days (so far) this month where the high temperature has been below freezing.

No new records here in northern Ohio (except maybe my heating bill!) Even though we had -5F with 42MPH winds and a wind chill of -33. Record wid was 51, and temp -15, both several years back.

Here in Northern California when the sun is shining and there is no snow on the ground, my weather station is reporting new records for high atmospheric pressure (which is probably the reason we are sunny and dry.)
