Title: Statistics
Post by: jg on June 28, 2012, 01:35:31 AM
I updated one of my two LWC servers to WeatherCat, I've noticed the statistics page no longer has the last 24 hours, last 7 and last 38 days at the top, nor all the all-time stats.  I still have the old templates.

The new site is here:

The old one is here (not updated it):

Hi jg, and welcome to the WeatherCat forum!

Yes, the statistics tag was changed a bit from the previous, and no longer includes records. To include the records on your web site, just include the tag STRECORDS$ on the line above the ST1$ statistics tag.

Here's how it looks on my web site: http://www.avon-weather.com/statistics.html

I hoe that helps, and again, welcome aboard,
Steve

That's great for the records, but how do we get back the last 7 and last 28 days?

Hi jg

In the folder WeatherCat_all_tags there is a full reference list of all the tags. In there, there are lots of examples of tags for individual stats.

So if you wanted say the Highest Temperature last week the web tag is:
STAT$TEMPERATURE:MAX:LASTWEEK$TEMPUNITS$ on STAT$TEMPERATURE:MAX:LASTWEEK:TIME$

Last month would be:
STAT$TEMPERATURE:MAX:LASTMONTH$TEMPUNITS$ on STAT$TEMPERATURE:MAX:LASTMONTH:TIME$

Here is how I set up my weekly stats page: http://www.yoxford-weather.co.uk/weeklyd.html (http://www.yoxford-weather.co.uk/weeklyd.html)
Hope this is of help

JC

Oops! You'll want STRECENT$, too.  Mine are now like this:
STRECORDS$
STRECENT$
ST1$

And show up like this: http://www.avon-weather.com/statistics.html

Sorry for the confusion,
Steve

So the STRECENT$ gives you the 7 & 28 day block of stats?

Yep! Today, 24 hours, 7 days, and 28 days. With those three tags, it should be just the same as the ST1$ tag in LWC2

I posted something as a feature request, but maybe its there and  haven't found it.  Is there a way to get first and last frost of a season (I see we now have frost dates).
