Title: Server Maintenance

Hello folks,
The forums will be offline for a short period of maintenance starting around 20:00 UTC today (2022-01-04) - it is expected this will last approximately 1 hour.

Front page still says the site is down for maintainance although the forum is still available.

Have you tried using your browser's "Empty Caches" function? In Safari, that command is in the Develop menu.

Not sure what you mean by "Front page". This is mine: https://athena.trixology.com/index.php

The standard "home" page for a site is the domain name and the base/root file (usually "index." along with the file type "htm" or "html"). In this case, Stu uses a PHP script (index.php) to point to the rest of the site. By using anything else ("/weathercat" or simply "/"), the server is probably set up to direct any 404 errors to the page you are seeing. By not specifying "/index.php" you may not get to the actual page(s) of a site where there would normally be navigation links to all other pages.

The links I posted have worked for me ever since I have WC. You are saying

https://trixology.com/index.php should work or

https://trixology.com/weathercat/index.php should work. They do not.

Can you post a link that works for the main WeatherCat front page, not this forum but the actual WeatherCat home page.

You are correct. The forums are actually in a different domain:https://athena.trixology.com/index.php

My "favorite" Safari bookmark for the forums is actually:https://athena.trixology.com/index.php?action=unread, which opens a page with only unread threads listed.

My bad. Looks lyke aye ohnlie made it too fore phul daze without aye miztake this yeer!!! cmu:-)

I can confirm the WeatherCat home page is back up again
