I've been using WeatherCat on a trial basis and yesterday tried to register for a licence - there seems to be problems with this at present and I haven't heard anything back from sales as to when my licence code will arrive. My 14 day evaluation period ends today.
My query is, I know data collection will stop if I don't register by tonight - does that mean that data collected by my logger (Davis Vantage Pro with USB logger) will just stay in the logger (until it is full) and then download when I get my code - or will I have a complete gap until I can register?
Thanks

John,
Yes, the data logger will continue to collect data until full. Somewhere around here there is a chart showing data collection intervals and time to full. I'll see if I can find that.
Meanwhile, I'll tag @WCDev to let him know your situation.
[EDIT] Found it: https://www.davisinstruments.com/product_documents/weather/spec_sheets/6510_SS.pdf
Also, tagging seems to be broken on the forum software. I'll PM Stu.

Dear John, Steve, and WeatherCat faithful,
It turns out that the storage capacity of the Davis data loggers is important enough that we have the same information on the WeatherCat Wiki:
https://wiki.trixology.com/index.php?title=Capacity_of_the_Davis_data-logger_to_store_weather_data_depending_on_the_chosen_sampling_interval (https://wiki.trixology.com/index.php?title=Capacity_of_the_Davis_data-logger_to_store_weather_data_depending_on_the_chosen_sampling_interval)
For example, for a 5 minute sampling interval, the data logger holds 8 days and 21 hours worth of data.
I hope that's a further help.
Cheers, Edouard
