Dear WeatherCat faithful,
Here is it December 20th, but there is more bad news. A new more contagious mutation of COVID has been identified in England. Here is a news article about it:
https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/what-we-know-about-new-coronavirus-variant-scientists-say-spreads-n1251841 (https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/what-we-know-about-new-coronavirus-variant-scientists-say-spreads-n1251841)
England is under further lock-down and European countries are closing their borders with England.
WeatherCat is used by a lot of folks in England, and or course, our fearless leaders Stu (Stuart Ball, WeatherCat developer) has relocated in the general vicinity of London. I hope all you folks are staying safe during these most difficult times.

Fortunately, the Pfizer vaccine that is being distributed over there appears to be just as effective against the new strain.

Big lockdowns everywhere now across the UK with more coming in. France stopped all lorries from the UK yesterday - this has now been resolved by testing the drivers but it will take days for the backlog to clear - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-55420193
Currently it's just getting worse and worse :(
Cheers,
Stu.

Hang in there. We have just come through Covid-19 at our home and are alive to tell the tale. It is not an enjoyable experience.

Unfortunately, we were informed by this by streaming French news sources. Hang in there Stu!

I was concerned about your absence from the forum the past few days. Sorry for the misery, but glad you managed to beat da' bug. I hope you can take it easy and recoup!
Cheers, Edouard
