Title: Web Hosting Your Site
Post by: xairbusdriver on November 17, 2020, 02:13:08 AM
There are probably at least a thousand companies that will be happy to host any kind of web site you might create. But some are better than others. I started with Hostgator (https://www.hostgator.com/web-hosting). I recently moved to Namecheap (https://www.namecheap.com/hosting/). My opinion is that Namecheap is a better Domain Registrar than a hosting company, at least when it comes to supporting WeatherCat!

I am now enjoying hosting at CrocWeb (https://www.crocweb.com). I can't praise their skills, patience, perseverance enough! If you want a host that will willingly help you no matter what kind of stupid things you may have done or ask for, CrocWeb is the one to go to!!

They even have a sense of humor! I even asked them if they were in any way related to Hostgator since they have similar logo animals. They said they not related and that their animal is a Crocodile while that other company uses an Alligator! cmu:-)

Dear X-Air and WeatherCat web spinners,

. . . .

Thanks for sharing your experiences.  Good technical support is really hard to come by, so your experience may be exactly what another WeatherCatter is looking for.

[wink] . . . . . Well, I'll take their word for it.  As far as I'm concerned, I hope never to get close enough to such a creature as to be able to tell the difference! . . . . .  lol(1)

Cheers, Edouard  [cheers1]
