Title: Twitter Pressure Display / Units Problem
Post by: socalbob on October 20, 2020, 03:14:02 PM
My WeatherCat 3.10 twitterbot displays the current pressure as "1.00". All my other web tags show pressure in millibars. This does not seem to be inches or millibars. What am I doing wrong?

Here is the twitter post output/preview:
Code: [Select]
7:00 AM: Temperature: 65→ Relative humidity: 90→ Pressure: 1.00→ Wind: 1→ from the E. Daily rain: 0.00.
Here is the formula:
Code: [Select]
t12$: Temperature: STAT$TEMPERATURE:CURRENT$STAT$TEMPERATURE:DELTACHAR$ Relative humidity: STAT$EXTHUMIDITY:CURRENT$STAT$EXTHUMIDITY:DELTACHAR$ Pressure: STAT$PRESSURE:CURRENT$STAT$PRESSURE:DELTACHAR$ Wind: STAT$WINDSPEED:CURRENT$STAT$WINDSPEED:DELTACHAR$ from the STAT$WINDDIRECTION:CURRENT$. Daily rain: STAT$RAIN:TOTAL:TODAY$.

Weird! Mine has exactly the same formula and shows correctly, with the only difference being that I show pressure in inches of Mercury. You've made no changes since 3.0.5? I'm on OS 10.15.7 for reference.

Only thing I can think of is mixed units somewhere?

It's likely the problem will be that the regional number separator grouping character is breaking it. If you set this to ’none’  in System Preferences->Language & Region->Advanced, the problem should go away (if this theory is correct). If you can confirm this, I'll add it to the bug report and get it fixed in the next release.

Cheers

Confirmed. Changing the regional number separator to "none" corrects the issue.

This issue is resolved in WeatherCat V3.11, Build 26.
I am looking into an issue with my Steel Series Gauges now reporting pressure of 980 mb (pegged to the low end) after the upgrade.

Same issue as the following or a new one?

I did not see that tag change - DOTSEPARATORS$. That fixes my gauges, thanks.

Glad that worked. This has been the only issue with SteelSeries Gauges in a long time.
