Title: Hello from the UK
Post by: splatt on October 14, 2020, 06:21:11 PM
Hello WeatherCats,

Just stumbled across this s/w after having used WeatherDisplay for 10 years on a PC which went pop a few months ago. Now I've found this, I can link my Davis VP2 and get the website up and running again on my 2014 Mac Mini. Let's just say that in my 3 days of trial (going to buy later), it's proven to be a joy to use and stable after fighting with the Mac version of WD.

Anyway, keep up the great work.

Welcome to the WeatherCat Forum, Steve. I've never been to Essex, but I have been in Surrey and East Anglia. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 We are glad to have you join us.

Welcome AboaRd, Steve!

You've probably figured out that the developer of WC is also British! Only recently moved back from a stint in Scotland. Been to several B & B's in England but too many years ago. :( Often enjoyed layovers (when I was working) in London! ;D

Glad that you found us!  :)  As you spend more time using WeatherCat I think you'll appreciate all the unique capabilities it brings to your weather observing experiences!  [cloudsun]

Welcome Steve from the Phoenix, AZ area where I live!

I am kind of new to using WeatherCat myself and have found it to be a very solid product that is well supported by the developer and the members/users on this forum.
