We are pleased to announce that WeatherCat V3.0.5 is now available.
This is a maintenance release with the following changes:
1. In monthly report, we now print temperatures to 2 decimal places ? previosuly was 1 decimal place.
2. Fixed a potential crash in the SQL driver.
3. Fix a crash when Simple Web ?Test Web Pages Locally? button pressed.
WeatherCat V3.0.5 is available for immediate download via the following link: https://data.trixology.com/downloads/WeatherCat3.dmg (https://data.trixology.com/downloads/WeatherCat3.dmg) , or, if you are running WeatherCat V3.0.0 or later, you can wait for the update notification within WeatherCat to update automatically.

Up and running here on the the update.
I just clicked on the menu tab WeatherCat | Check for Updates and the rest was magic.
No issues. It's great to know you are still with us. The best software for macOS just got better. Thank you Stu!!

With all that you have on your plate, I especially appreciate that you took some of your precious free time to improve WeatherCat a little more.
Definitely appreciated! ThU5:-)

Hi!
Thank you so much for your new release. I know that there is a lot of work behind that.
I could not live without this software.

I received the "A new version of WeatherCat is available" Dialog for V3.0.5.
When I select "Yes to install the update:" I get a dialog "WeatherCat Update Failed: Failed to update Weather Cat - could not download file. Reason: "An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made. "Click OK' to exit.
I click on OK and the dialog goes away and leaves the Weather cat Update Dialog running. If I choose "Later" the dialog goes away and most of my weather cat windows will reappear. (but not all)
Any Ideas what is going on?

Maybe the server-move: http://athena.trixology.com/index.php?topic=3063.0 :-\

Yep, try it again. There can be many reasons why the auto-update will fail. In all cases you can just download the latest release and install it manually (just quit WeatherCat, download and then drag it over the Applications folder in the disk image).

Thank you Stu! ;)

I downloaded the most recent version of Catalina. Weathercat will not load now. Any solution at this point? Thanks.

I believe this is the longest run for my system since starting LWC/WeatherCat nine years ago. Thanks for a stable product, Stu!

Dear Steve and WeatherCat faithful,
I believe this is the longest run for my system since starting LWC/WeatherCat nine years ago.
That's great to see! [tup] I have tried to make endurance runs on my new Mac mini, but I have too much other software that are memory hogs. These days it is simpler to habitually reboot once a week.
Thanks for a stable product, Stu!
x2!!

Hi Steve
Thats great the best I can do is 500.000 good data
The cat stays running but 4 of the upload programs Aweaks, PWS, Met Office, and Weathercloud quit uploading and the only way to get them going again is to restart the Cat.
The Cat is still the best
cheers [cheers1]
