Hope Davis is monitoring the market and this and possible other 'competitors' like the 'Coming soon' Smart Weather. O suspect Davis considers these 'new guys on the block' as falling short of their level of accuracy and capabilities, but we all know the fickle consumer's first priority is price, followed immediately by cost. cmu:-)
Title: Weather has definitely become "geeky" (Re: Bloomsky Review )

Dear Blick, X-Air, and WeatherCat faithful,

Here is a review on the Boomsky weather station.

Thanks for sharing.  All of a sudden geeks are getting interested in weather and weather stations.  I'm sure this is part of the "connected home" movement, but it might be all that helpful for those of us sincerely interested in the weather.  If the quality of their code is any indication, they aren't exactly "detail oriented," and might be more interested to have any sort of data than to go through all the hoops necessary to get really accurate data.

Cheers, Edouard

Speaking of "connected home", take a look at this thread: IoT?! (http://athena.trixology.com/index.php?topic=2538.msg24536#msg24536)
